Mitt has raised 6.5 million in his first day of fundraising! This represents the largest haul of any candidate since the passage of campaign finance reform!
Check out the link: Romney's big day
And just how does this compare to Rudy and McCain?
The figure dwarfed the money raised so far by two GOP stars leading the 2008 speculation, U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Anyone familiar with modern presidential politics will tell you that he who raises the most money the earliest will get the national spotlight. All the more reason to be optimistic for Mitt's campaign!

The fundraising comparison with McCain and Giuliani was interesting. I posted a similar story on my own site at www.mittromneyin2008.com
but I failed to include that comparison. So far we have also seen comparisons of the websites of the top three Republican hopefuls - McCain, Giuliani, and Romney. Most importantly we have also seen comparisons of their policies. It seems to me that Romney has them beat every time we look at a comparison. It will be very interesting to see some verification in the media that Mitt Romney is actually gaining ground on McCain and Giuliani.
yeah, high fives all around guys.
I wouldn't mind seeing Romney elected. we could do a lot worse; we have done a lot worse for the last 7 years.
do you have any humorous jokes about Mitt Romney's name? if you can streeetssccch Obaba to Osama then surely you can do at least as well with Mitt Romney.
