A Baptism in Iraq

So technically you aren't supposed to photograph ordinances...but this is still cool. Therese Gutosky sent these to me. Her Husband, Chris, is serving in Iraq and will be home soon. Appearantly, this soldier was converted and baptized while serving in Iraq.

The only funny thing about this is that there is an old missionary slideshow that we used to joke about the fact that the picture looked like Saddam Hussein was being baptized. Instead, here are some Mormon Elders baptizing in Saddam's backyard.

How neat! That is absolutely fantastic! A Mormon convert in Iraq and in Saddam's backyard...well I never. God bless our military. God bless Prez...err, Mitt Romney!

Wow. Never seen or heard of someone conferming with a side arm!
They would't allow that in my mission.
